Our privacy policy applies to “personal data” (which is defined in applicable data privacy law as information which can identify living people). Where we refer to personal data below, we use the term “personal information”.

The contents of our privacy policy may change from time to time. Please check it now and again for any updates. This privacy policy was last updated on the date at the beginning of this privacy policy.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your donation, then Wix stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your donation transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your donation. After that is complete, your transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your donation-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

  • Some Producers may email you directly (i.e., through non-Vimeo systems). EEA Users: Users from the EEA have the right to: opt out of cookies (see our Cookie Policy); access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of their personal data; be forgotten; and data portability. For the most part, we enable exercise of these rights directly through the Vimeo OTT Service. If you require assistance or have a specific request that is not presently covered by our product features, please contact our Data Protection Officer. We may require additional information from you to fulfil your requests. We may charge a reasonable fee if your request imposes an unreasonable cost. We will afford UK-based users with all rights available to EU users, regardless of the UK’s EU member status. California Users: Users from California have the right to: request information about the categories and sources of personal information collected about you, and the associated purposes for collection and third-party disclosures; request a copy of your personal information; request deletion of your personal information; and opt out of the sale of your personal information. To exercise your right to access or delete your personal information, we must be able to verify your identity as the owner of the account you are inquiring about. We may not be able to fulfill your request until we can do so. Although you do not need to have an OTT account to submit a request, we may not be able to locate certain information to process your request if you don’t have one. Nevada Users: Nevada residents have the right to opt out of the sale of certain "covered information" collected by operators of websites or online services. We currently do not sell covered information, as "sale" is defined by such law, and we don't have plans to sell this information.
